What a whirlwind week it's been! Thank goodness it's over. To be very brief, my cousin lost her dad this week due to a freak accident, so I spent the week with her, making very difficult decisions and trying to throw in some humor every now and then. It was great to visit with the family, but the circumstances made it very sobering. I miss this North Dakota family very much! We went from getting together about once a month, to now seeing them about once a year. I do understand that lives change, jobs change, etc...but it's tough to spend so little time together now, when we once spent so much time together.
Anyway, it's great to be home! No matter how rough life gets, seeing the smiles and hearing the giggles from baby Ryan this morning made me realize I am truly blessed! Blessed that I have such a great family, and such a Loving God! Blessed that I have a place to call home!
Since I've been home I've been busy stalking my favorite stamping blogs and getting some creative inspiration so I can get some fun done...It's now racetime and if I can avoid falling asleep to watch it, I will. I hope everyone has as blessed a life as I do. Enjoy your day!
